Shortly after 9/11 and graduation\, he went into the U.S. Army as where he deployed to Iraq three times. Those combat tours were the impetus behind his record\, “From Baghdad to Bisbee” which comprised songs he wrote while there. James’ new record\, James’ newest release\, “Where the Roots Raise the Road” was released in 2024 and provides another motley collection of powerful\, funny\, and poignant songs that all can relate to. Accompanying James on stage will be the incredibly talented musician\, songwriter\, and producer Stuart Oliver. Originally from Dahlonega\, Stuart now resides in Tucson\, Arizona where he writes\, produces\, performs\, and teaches music professionally. \n“James is a captivating performer.
