SUMMARY:Texas Blues-Rock Singer-Songwriter: MARK WINTERS LIVE in the Roots
DESCRIPTION:Purchase Tickets HERE. \nTexas-based rock singer-songwriter Mark Winters is many things; a witty poet\, passionate musician\, entrepreneur\, optimist\, family man\, and a bonafide rocket scientist. He first picked up a guitar to play a song for his wife on their anniversary. That’s when he discovered the joy of connecting with people through music. Mark combines music\, poetry\, a science background\, and love for his community to form his signature sound\, “rock with a positive vibe.” \nHis musical roots are in rock\, blues rock\, and pop\, and John Mayer\, Tom Petty\, and Jason Mraz are significant influences. “My music starts from a place of poetry and creative inspiration\, and I use my ‘rocket-scientist brain’ to find structures that help me explore that initial burst of inspiration and feeling – like writing haikus\, my favorite! My grandmother taught me to express myself through poetry and I’m thankful to her for setting me on this creative and expressive path.” \nMark Winters’ “Boundary Layer” will put you in the high frequency energy state to feel ultra confident to release your old boundaries. – Americana Highways \nWinters writes songs that are catchy and engaging that will brighten your day and lift your mood.” \n– Indie Band Guru \n“Mark Winters is a mad rocket-scientist who finds his charm through the magic of poetry and music” – Testing Melodies \n“And when Winters sings? Man\, he pours his heart and soul into it. You can practically feel the passion in every note. His voice climbs\, and it’s like he’s sending out this wave of hope and positivity.” – Music Arenagh \nConnect authentically to the artists by hearing them in our “speakeasy”-styled intimate listening room\, the Roots\, located underground beneath the Canopy social house. Hear the stories behind the songs as the artist(s) share their inspiration and even their heartaches. Doors open at 7:00pm; show starts at 7:30pm; VIP lounge with couches\, booths\, and tables are available. Reserve by emailing events@canopyandtheroots.com . .
