With a live performance that combines alluring\, hard-hitting lyricism and iconic harmonies with thrashing banjo\, stand-up bass\, fiddle\, drums\, and the occasional accordion or flute\, the Broken String Band encapsulates the feel-good vibe of acoustic jamming with a dash of classical culture thrown in for good measure. Though the group fits the appearance of a traditional folk act as they take stage\, great surprise lies in their unexpectedly electrifying style of performing. They’ve got the touch and sincerity from the likes of the Everly Brothers mixed with the grunt and grime of any classic rock & roll band. \nConrad Moore is a North GA native singer-songwriter currently based in Asheville\, NC. His music falls into the ever-growing pot of Americana. With roots in folk storytelling which nod to the ups and downs of life\, love\, and the pursuit of happiness. All washed in hints of booze\, half-truths\, and hotel-rooms\, his lyrics personify Mother Nature and her dance with Appalachia. The human condition and blue-collar woes are often his muses. Although his songs have no shortage of heartbreak and day to day struggles. \nDoors open at 7:00PM\, show begins at 7:30PM. This Virginia native has spent 25 years touring and trying to figure out the art of making music\, making community\, making a family\, and making all of that work. Franck has shared the stage with a broad list of bad asses from John Popper\, and Bobby Keys\, to Ray Wylie Hubbard\, and Randall Bramblett. Betsy is featured on (3) of Randall’s albums. She holds songwriting workshops and throws house concerts to raise awareness for specific community needs. She currently plays solo/duo and full band shows featuring her original music at festivals and small clubs across the country as well as performing as one of the lead singers in the rock band\, Bloodkin. Her latest release features (4) singles\, and a music video filmed during the recording process. She is currently compiling an album that features songs she has written over the last decade recorded with a multitude of various artists. \nWhether you catch a full band show\, or one of Betsy’s lyrically enchanting solo sets\, you will not be disappointed as this performer embodies impassioned performance at its best. \n_ \nUnable to be encapsulated by a single title\, Justin Brogdon is many forms of an artist….a singer\, a guitarist\, a songwriter\, an entertainer. Listeners become captivated by the familiarity of the unfolding story lines in his songs\, which share his perception of the daily tribulations in the lives which we all lead. Drawing from his own personal experiences with life\, this artist creates a storyboard of imagery… pain\, heartache\, love\, and passion. \nAlong with his soulful voice\, Brogdon’s engaging stage presence is distinctly his own\, and yet\, there’s a familiarity about him that you can’t quite put your finger on. Honesty and candor onstage create a rapport with his audience\, making him feel more like that of an old friend\, than an entertainer. The influences of Justin’s musical career are a by-product of his parent’s eclectic musical taste. As a child he was exposed to everything from his mother’s R&B albums\, to his fathers classic rock collections. These influences germinated Justin’s own blending of genres\, resonating in a vintage rock sound with modern\, infectious touch. \nAs the frontman of Athens\, GA based rock trio The Royal Velvet\, Brogdon draws on influences from bands like Black Sabbath\, Pink Floyd\, and Soundgarden to create an original rock sound that has been compared to Queens of the Stone Age\, Stereophonics\, and Kings of Leon.
