Thursday Sessions :: LIVE in the Roots with rapper, Brand X

Our Thursday Sessions are special showcase performances with local and emerging NGA artists and musicians; every show is $8 at the door. Call the store to purchase advance tickets. A venue like no other, c’mon outta the city and into the mountains for a cozy, safe, and professionally-optimized acoustic space to hear original singers, songwriters, comedians, and spoken word artists from the Roots’ stage. Some shows have craft beer and wine available for purchase as well as a supper plate created by local chefs.

Brand X is a rapper, singer, and producer from the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia. His music centers on nerdy references, lyrical acrobatics, and talking about the human experience. He released his debut mixtape Sketchbook, in the summer of 2017, followed by Art Gallery in the fall of 2018. With popular songs such as Fresh, Gameboy, and Black Spiderman, Brand X uses his energy and wordplay to ride to ride the flow of hisaudiences, both in college campus performances and a Tiny Desk performance.
